Mayurpankhi, a leading children's book publisher from Bangladesh, has been shortlisted for the prestigious 2025 BOP - Bologna Prize for the Best Children's Publishers of the Year: Asia.
Organized by the Bologna Children's Book Fair (BCBF)—the world's largest and most influential children's book fair—the BOP (Bologna Prize for the Best Children's Publishers of the Year) celebrates outstanding publishers who contribute to the growth of children's literature globally, reads a press release.
Each year, the award honors the best publishers across different regions, recognizing their creativity, innovation, and impact on young readers.
Being shortlisted for this honour places Mayurpankhi among the most distinguished children's publishers in Asia, marking a significant milestone for Bangladeshi children's literature on the global stage.
