Farzana Tannee has nurtured a passion for children’s writing since her early
years. An English graduate, she chose Bengali as her medium for creative
expression. Several of her books were published during her student years. She
contributes to prominent newspapers in Bangladesh and crafts advertising stories
in her profession. Writing for children remains a heartfelt pursuit she intends to
cherish throughout her life.
Thousands of age-old heritage and art lie concealed amid the concrete jungle of
the city, and Lamia Azad strives to immortalize them on her canvas and fabrics.
She holds a degree in arts from the University of Development Alternative and has
pursued fashion design at the National Institute of Design. Her aspiration is to
forge a path where art seamlessly intertwines with her creative vision.
Shamim Ahmed is an avid explorer of new places and their untold stories, which
he vividly portrays through his writing and illustrations. By profession, he serves as
an architect at Studio Dhaka Ltd. His future aspiration includes establishing a
small school. Nodir Golpo, Bonbhojon and Nilu, among others, feature his
captivating illustrations.
